Transition baby to bottle with milk?

Ok. I am feeding my 5 month old boy and lately he has been having a hard time starting to eat. I have used a nipple shield since day one. I dont want to pull it off because he is so used to it. The reason is that he was a little premature just about 3 weeks and was in the hospital for that long. But with how my are he couldn't latch on. But anyways, the nipple shield helps. But lately its been hard to get him started. Also he is starting to baby talk and he does that while he eats. Its just a little frustrating for me. I have pumped and have frozen back up. So I defrosted about 3 oz and gave him in a bottle and he had no problem eating it. He had no problem eating it out of the bottle either. Now I want to keep feeding him milk, so that means I have to pump. Now, for me to keep up with him and not have to pump and have him wait for me to give it to him in a bottle, what do I do? He eats about 4 maybe 5 times a day. When I feed him on the , its usually for 20 mins on each side. So I have been pumping about 10 or 11 at night and freezing that. so what should I DO!?? How should I start pumping and still have milk ready for him so he doesn't have to wait?

If we examine that premise with intellectual honesty-it should be relatively simple to strengthen or weaken the position. The epic of gilgamesh predates the biblical noah story by over a thousand years, the king sargon myth predates the story of moses by over a thousand years, the babylonian creation myth of gods creating men from the clay of the earth predates genesis--we find most of the ten commandments in the egyptian book of the dead--and we find that many of the spectacular bible events have no historical/archeological support. It seems odd that a deity wouldn't write an original book--so the fact that these stories predate the bible and the bible stories sound suspiciously like they were taken from them--at least like the no transitional fossils idea should be suffiecent to make one question not whether there is a god--but whether the book is literal or not literal. However logical reasoning is thrown out the window in this arena--isn't that the epitomy of intellectual dishonesty? Picking and choosing? Serious question. Wouldnt creationists be better off simply saying I don't care is found nor what the explanation is--my blind faith tells me this book is true. The point is--isn't it dishonest to use logic and reason to poke holes in evolutionary biology--but forego using that same logic and reason to evaluate their own bible faith?

How should I handle being un-invited?

A friend from work, knowing I'd be alone this Christmas, said I could come to her house for the holiday if I brought a dish to share with her family and other guests. This was a month ago and she's been going on and on about how excited she was to have me come to her house. Then, just now, I got a phone call from her saying she's reconsidered her invitation - no reason given. When I tried to pursue it on the phone with her, she just hung up. Now I'm really ticked. It was bad enough being un-invited, but to give such short notice after I went and bought the things I needed to make a cerole seems downright cruel. I think she should have given me a reason as well as at least a dew days notice. What should I say or do when I meet up with her at work after the holidays?

How to force my parents to move from countryside?

Every summer our family moves to the countryside and renting small barn there. Low sperm count after vasectomy reversal??

My husband had a vasectomy reversal march 1st of this year.. we just had a SA done and it determined that his count was 2.5 mil which is considered low, rapid prog motility=10% which is considered low, sluggish motility=30% which is considered low, inert motility=60% which is considered high, morphology=40% normal which is considered low..My question is has anyone had numbers like these and still conceive and is there anything that anyone can suggest to increase these numbers? You can always put yourself on calendar and ask for an extention on paying your fines, since it sounds like you have burned some bridges at home. Start by getting treatment for your substance abuse problems, I know you said you went through treatment already, but if you are continuing to steal and live a shady lifestyle, maybe you need to get more rehabilitation. Once you take the drugs out of the equation, then you have to work on changing your behaviors that got you into this situation, and probably need to make some amends to your family and clean up some of the wrechage of your past mistakes. This all of course takes time, and it will take time to build your repor too. It is very unlikely to hold down a job if still in your active addiction. So start with getting some treatment first. I am not sure where you live but there are alot of resources for treatment. I have been in a similar situation and am a recovering addict of five years and I now work as a counselor at a resedential program. It is possible to clear all of this up and start all over and get a good job and have a good relationship with your family again, but like I said it will take alot of work and changing of old behaviors. Maybe try going to an NA/AA meeting in your area also, and try going to some kind of labor ready or day job that you work and get paid the same day. I know things look hopeless and down right now, but it will get better as long as you keep doing the next right thing and making some changes for the better in your life. My one and a half year old developed a bump on his bottom eyelid two days ago. His eye has been pink and slightly swollen. Yesterday, a second bump appeared on the same eye. This one is on the top eyelid. Today, I've noticed a thick, stringy, blood-tinged discharge from his eye. His tear ducts seem to be blocked also. I umed he had a sty so I've been treating it at home. If he has never been in trouble before, check into an ACD (Adjourned in Contemplation of Dismissal) the time length of such is 6 mo. to a year. in that amount of time if he stays out of trouble this incident could be wiped off his record. Some students opt out of attendance. the Lutheran, Baptist and Quaker Academies are similar if they have some special enrollments, service attendance is expected but can opt out. Most of those students don't attend very long, some from school neighborhood may start by opting out but many will later attend- that was experience at Du Sable in Chicago for many of the scholarship/day school black students for Baptist background. Currently the President is sending his girls to a Quaker school in Washington DC instead of public school. The religious schools are considered private schools in US- not supposed to get public tax money. The recent 'charter school/voucher school' programs are changing some schools- the public school parents will ask for religious prayers at some times. After a few arguements from the freedom from religion foundation the parents will vote not to give any money for after school activities that don't have the religious option included and sue the administrators for first amendment violation- Freedom from Religion Foundation then told take it to court and pay the court costs- state will remove school administration as concerned party and make it between the 2 different parents groups. Freedom From Religion foundation then found not to have standing in law suit as they don't have child enrolled in school. Happened a couple times locally, foundation hit with all court costs and legal fees, lawyer was threatened with Barrartree (or something like that) charge and loss of license.

Why won't my Wisteria grow?

I bought it last June as part of a scheme for a new garden, and planted it up on a trellis against a sunny wall (unwinding it from it's three bamboo canes it was wrapped around when purchased from the nursery and re-winding it around the trellis using it's natural 'curls'). I had just dug the bed in which I planted it, the soil consisting of a mix of manure, pea shingle, peat-free compost and topsoil. It has been well fed and watered, but has never really developed to more than a twiggy stem with the odd bit of leafy growth. It is no taller or thicker than when I bought it and it appears to have had some kind of setback already after appearing to have a good start to May - the leaves and new growth that appeared have all shrivelled and wilted. I thought it may have gotten dried out on one of the warmer days, yet all info online suggests it needs, and thrives in, decent sunlight. It is the only plant in our garden that has not taken off - what is going wrong...!?!

My due date is November 11th from my very 1st dr's appointment, but when I went for an ultrasound at 17 weeks, they bumped me up a few days as I was measuring big. So I started going by that day (on how many weeks I was) ... I went for an ultrasound a few weeks back supposed to be at 31 weeks and 3 days pregnant but the ultrasound said that baby is measuring at 32 weeks and 3 days, so a whole nother week. Now I am 35 weeks today (going by the last ultrasound) .. so would my due date still be novemeber 11th? of would I say earlier? cause going by november 11th I would be close to 42 weeks... so confused please help !!!

I have a 1990 Arctic Cat Jag AFS. Awesome Sled :) when i take it out; i can hear a faint clanking type noise coming from inside the hood. Any ideas what this is. It doesn't bother the sleds performance at all. Sled runs GREAT. Today when i took it out tho. I went to apply the brake, and noticed that it was barely stopping. But i was able to stop barely! I took the sled home and opened the hood and it looks like the brake disc is shot. It looks like when i apply the brake; its barely touching and when it does touch, it just scs the metal. So i believe that the disc brake needs replacing. I'm not sure if there is brake fluid on that sled or not that i need to check. Any answers are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Why are my fish misbehaving?

I just set up my first aquarium. It is a regular size 10 gallon tank. I'm not an expert on fish, so I just picked out some fish that I though looked nice. I have to agree that a comedic take on GL would NOT have been a good idea, at least not for a first outing. Pregnant rabbits and babies in extreme heat?

I have 2 pregnant rabbits outside in different hutches due to give birth within the week. I already put in a nest box for each with hay and they have taken an interest in building a nest. I'm concerned though because we live in Houston, Texas, and it's the hight of summer. The temperature has been getting into the 100's the past week and i've been having to put out frozen water bottles and have been misting the rabbits. We are going away for a few days and i have a friend that is going to be coming over twice a day to care for them and the babies will either be born when we are gone or just before. I am concerned the babies will be too hot in this weather with all the hay and fur in the boxes covering them up. I could move them inside but it is a last resort and will probably stress the expectant mothers, not to mention they make a huge mess in our bathrooms and the pet sitter will not be happy cleaning up mounds of poop from the floor as neither is litter box trained. I can move them inside but would rather have them left outside if they will be okay. Does anyone know what would be safe for the babies? (We are planning to get both spayed but we don't have any male rabbits and they got pregnant from being out in the yard when a neighbor's male rabbit dug under the fence.)

Does anyone know anything about CT scans?

I got a CT scan done to see if I had kidney stones, and it was negative. The more I think about it now, I had my gallbladder removed 3 years ago and was reading into gall stones in the bile ducts. If this is what is it, would the CT scan have picked up on it? Or is that a different test? I've been really nauseous, and have had pain in my back and under my ribs where my liver is. Could this be stones again?

used to smoke ganja EVERY night because i couldnt fall asleep if i wasnt high. (dont judge.) ive grown up a bit and now that im not smokin as much, is there anything i can do to help me fall asleep quicker? itll take me 2 to 3 hours after i go to bed to actually fall asleep. i cant go to bed 2-3 hours earlier either, so besides pills, alcohol, or other drugs.. what can i do to just sleep? also, music gets me hyped. even clical-tried it. thaks :)

I would say that you are lucky - you must be so good at the other parts of your job, that they are willing to overlook the stuff you are not so good at and give it to someone else.
