Truck seat stitching ?

I have a 1985 ford F150 and i like the seat that is in it now but i have a rip in the fabric on the driver side going from dash direction to the bed direction and was wanting to know what should i do about the foam is there a adhesive to glue it back together in the rip and i am planning to stitch the seat back together any helpful hints would be grateful~!!
