What can i do to make my sore thoart go away?

Alright so it started out i thou it was just a cold then come sat afternoon i thou it was the flu i was out for two day i could nott move n my thoart this killing me to this day it been a week in a day n it not gettin any better actully it get worst am soooooooooooo sick of this m 16 and my parnets r like ooo just wait it out the old salt water trick should do it ummmm no there not doctors i need to know wat i should to there like agaist takin me to the doc which i dont see y it not that hard we have the money trust me we have in money in the insu but since there there not goin to take me wat r more ways other than advil the salt in water tea trick i mean then n there not workin in omg my thoart hurt sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo baddd omg am in pain wat can i do
