How do i make 360 controlers compatible with wii?

i know for a fact that the Wii and Xbox 360 use the same encoding for their disks and as such the disks are compatible, however the controlers are not normally compatible with each other. i know it is possible to moddify a 360 to work with a wii. if anyone knows the process to modify an Xbox 360 controler, please include detailed instructions for which chips to switch and solder etc.
